Merry Christmas From OneBeatBlog

This week I decided to do things a little differently. I will not be writing about youth culture, parenting, or leadership…in fact I will not be referring to youth ministry at all. I just wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas and encourage you to enjoy the simplicity of Christmas this year.

You might be thinking, “Christmas is anything but simple!” It is  full of family (some of which we are happy to only see once a year), parties, shopping, gifts, services, and STRESS! For a lot of us it might be one of the most busy times of the year. It is my prayer that this year you would be able to take a step back and fully enjoy Christmas.

I pray that you will be filled with child-like awe and wonder. I, like Alicia pray that you will be able to enjoy traditions and time spent with your family. Most importantly, I pray that you will be able to fully comprehend and focus on the simple message of Christmas…that Jesus, the Savior, was born to die.

Merry Christmas from the writers of OneBeatBlog
